As United Methodists we believe that we are on a lifelong journey of faith--always growing and changing, teaching and learning. All of us need to continue to grow into Christ and live in ways that are patterned after the perfection of Christ. The teaching ministry of our congregation helps ensure this continued growth.

At Clinton United Methodist Church we offer a variety of opportunities for quality Christian education for both adults and children.

This is what FLEXTIME can do for you...

 

	For families that prefer a one-hour experience on Sunday morning, we recommend attending our 10:15 AM worship service. Families can worship together for the first half of the service. After a lesson with the Pastor, children are excused just before the sermon. This allows adults and older children to fully concentrate on the learning opportunity of the sermon. Toddlers through kindergartners participate in traditional Sunday school classes. First through fifth-graders can enjoy Junior Church--a time of music, bible stories and fun! Nursery care is provided for infants. We place great importance on adults and children having the opportunity of both worship and learning experiences. If you have two hours on Sunday morning, we suggest attending worship at either 8:15 AM or 10:15 AM. An opening gathering for children begins at 9:00 AM, followed by Sunday School classes. On many Sundays FLEXTIME programs, at 9:15 AM, offer Christian education for adults and children:
Traditional Sunday School classes for toddlers through senior high; Pre-School First and Second Graders Third and Fourth Graders Fifth and Sixth Graders Junior High High School Adult study groups; FLEXTIME SPECIALS--guest speakers, programs, and presentations; Infant and childcare.

HOW MANY HOURS EACH WEEK DO YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN SPEND... at school or work? watching TV? shopping or "hanging out" at the mall? participating in sports activities--including both practices and games? at music lessons and practicing? socializing with friends? in Christian education-- worship Sunday School reading the Bible praying?
