MISSION STATEMENT

As a community of believers in the Risen Savior, we need to be involved in the work of the Lord and to establish a safe haven for all people where each is accepted as a Child of God. In order to grow in God's love and with others, we need to share what He has given us and be an example of the Living Christ.

OUR 2006 GOALS

1. To continue to reach out to the youth of our community through the bonfires, after home football games, and possibly after other sporting events. To continue the before school breakfast program, which also reaches many young people. Also, to continue to work with the parish youth and providing quality activities for the youth of Upper Adams County.

2. To work to bring more children into our Sunday School program. To find more volunteers to assist and to teach in our Sunday School program and to offer training and direction for our teachers and leaders

3. To continue to provide the Upper Adams Senior Center with a place to meet and in so doing provide a valuable outreach to the senior citizens of our community.

4. To reach out to the un-churched people of our community through various outreach programs.

5. To again hold a Vacation Bible School in the summer in cooperation with other churches.

6. To continue to provide the space for the food pantry to be housed, which is a parish ministry, but is located at Centenary UMC. This is an important ministry to many in our community who are in need of food.
