Victor Cyrus-Franklin, Ministerial Intern

Victor (Leon) Cyrus-Franklin is in his last semester the Master of Divinity program at Gammon Theological Seminary of the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC). He served last year as a seminary intern with the Office of Religious Life and has returned this year. He iss also a research assistant for the department o fTheology, Ethics, and History at the ITC.  Born and raised in Nashville, TN, he received B.A. from Tennessee State University with a major in English and a minor in Philosophy and Religious Studies.  

Victor serves on the Human Biotechnologies Policy Development Committee for the National Council of Churches, on the United Methodist Church Pastoral Leadership Search Effort (PLSE) Advisory Committee for the Fund for Theological Education, and on the youth section of the Curriculum Resources Committee for the United Methodist Publishing House, and . Victor recently completed a four-year term as a member of the Board of Directors for the General Board of Discipleship of the United Methodist Church, was a Julius C. Hope Religious Affairs intern for the Southeast Region office of the NAACP, and is a former chairperson of the United Methodist Student Movement national steering committee.
