SPECIAL SERVICES AND SACRAMENTS

The Sacrament of Baptism for infants and children is conducted in the presence of the full congregation on the request of parents. This request is made in advance to the pastor. Our tradition is to baptize infants, but we also baptize youth and adults who desire to belong to the Christian faith.

The Sacrament of Communion is celebrated throughout the year and is open to all persons who desire to be connected to God.

The Service of Christian Marriage is performed after the couple has been interviewed by the pastor. The request is expected to be given six months in advance of the desired wedding date. A booklet with detailed information and policies is available upon request from the church office.

The Service of Death and Resurrection is available. However, it is critical that the family discuss details with the pastor prior to making arrangements. We can minimize the stress at such a difficult time. Discussing your plans before the sad event will greatly help to ensure that all wishes and desires will be known and respected.
