We have a need where we can actually meet it easily and perform a good service at the same time. People come to
Christ Church seeking immediate food help each week. We have a small pantry area at the Second Street entrance where we store canned and dry food items. Please help us to stock up by donating foods that can easily be stored and kept in Susannah's Pantry.

Thanks to all those who have donated to Susannah's Pantry. With your help, dozens of people have received much needed food.
Thank you for helping to feed others in the love of Christ!

Some of the most requested food items:
Spaghetti Noodles and Sauce, Instant Rice, Instant Potatoes, Tuna, Canned Meats,
Canned Fruits, Cereal, Peanut Butter and Jelly, Soups, & Crackers

Thanks for all your donations to Susannah's Pantry! With your help, dozens of people have received much needed food.

Laura Beach is Returning
Laura Beach, Spiritual Director and Retreat Facilitator, is returning to CUMC Friday, November 13-Saturday, November 14 for a
Women's Retreat, PROFOUND SIMPLICITY: A Christian Perspective For the Holiday Season.

The Incarnation was both the simplest and most profound moement in all creation, but the holidays can be stressful and overwhelming. This retreat helps us to prepare for a different kind of holiday season -- one that embraces the profound simplicity of Christ's coming.

Our weekend will start with dinner at 6PM on Friday evening, followed by two hours of program. We will return to the Church on Saturday morning for a light breakfast and more time with Laura. Lunch will be provided. We will plan to close about 4:30PM Saturday afternoon.

Cost of the weekend will be $20 per person. Registration forms will be available soon. Nursery care will be provided if the need is established through registration. Laura has offered to provide a "family friendly" session - children and spouses will be welcome - on "gift giving" Saturday afternoon if interest is noted on registration.

Please prayerfully consider attending - you won't want to miss this opportunity to experience personal
transformation through the real meaning of Christmas.
