What We Offer...

CUMC encourages all ages to get involved with small group activities.  On-going and short-term groups are offered throughout the year. 
Current opportunities include:

Jr High and Sr High Youth Groups meet on Wednesday evenings, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. with a variety of activities/service projects/work camps scheduled throughout the year.

Hearts and Hands Preschool

Parents Day Out

The Hearts and Hands Preschool opened in the Fall of 1999 with classes for 3 year olds held on T.Th and for 4 year olds on  M.W.F. 

Child Care is offered through our Parents Day Out program.  PDO is open Monday - Friday, 9 am -3 pm.  Please call the church for information regarding availability.

Van Ministry

Rides to and from church are provided for those who wish to attend  Sunday services, Sunday School, and various activities.

Tape Ministry

Worship Services are recorded on audio tape for those unable to attend.  Volunteers deliver tapes weekly.

United Methodist
Women

UMW provides on-going opportunities for fellowship, education, spiritual growth, small gorup sharing, service and mission support to women of all ages.  The Unit Meeting is held the 1st Wednesday at 12 N.  Various circles (small groups) meet throughout the month.

Various groups within the church community also provide opportunities for service through:  Quilting for Missions; CROP Walk; Soup for the Gathering Place; Habitat for Humanity; Heifer Project International; Meals On Wheels; Eastridge Neighborhood Food Pantry; Warming Hut ; Angel Tree;
and CUMC Emergency Fund through Recycling Aluminum Cans
