Special Offering
The children and youth Sunday School offering is being used to help support Dezmond and Dawn Redday’s family this year. The Reddays live on the Redbud Reservation in Mission, South Dakota. They are Lakota and Christian. We were connected to them through Tree of Life Ministries (one of the United Methodist ministries we supported with our Lenten offering). Dezmond and Dawn say they felt called by God to run a home for children of all ages—now they are parents to a houseful of kids! We are keeping in touch through email, letters, pictures and videos. Periodic updates of the Redday family are posted outside our theater, where we keep a running total of our gifts. The Education Committee thanks everyone who is remembering the Reddays in their prayers and with their offerings.
