Key Number 9
HopeLuke 24: 13-27
For the Christian, our ‘Hope’ is not that we will have plenty of money, no pain or problems and life is just continuous happiness. Christian ‘Hope” is for Christ to be fully formed in us so that we are living the life in Christ where we are both willing and doing that which is pleasing to God.
As we go through the process of life as Christ is being formed in us our Christian Hope reminds us that:
• Jesus comes to us in our time of need
• Jesus helps us by his presence and by his power“Our progress in holiness depends on God and ourselves—
on God’s grace and on our will to be holy. We must have a real living determination to reach holiness.” –Mother Teresa“Too many folks think they can make Christ their Savior, but not their Lord.”- Lori Wick
“They wanted Jesus to change their circumstances, not to change them.”
