One of the core principals of the church is what we call ‘Revelation Knowledge.’ This refers to the time Jesus told Peter that he, Peter, had not reached the conclusion that Jesus was the Christ of God out of his own knowledge or resources. Rather, it was the Holy Spirit of God that had revealed this truth to Peter.
The Christian lives in expectation that God will continue to reveal Himself to us.
