Social Action

• The Social Action Team was formed with the affirmation of the goals adopted at the January 28, 2007 Charge Conference. The team will focus on connecting with Methodist networks (Board of Church and Society, Methodist Federation for Social Action, and Reconciling Ministries Network) to do inclusive church, human rights, and social justice work. They will also form a "Troy Witness Team" to share in listening and attending city meetings and environmental concerns groups, maintaining a connection with helping agencies, and supporting Troy events by reporting on them in the SPIRE and at Church Council.
