Fellowship

Our opportunities for fellowship include:
  • If you like to cook, we have a group who shares your interest. Under the direction of Paul and Roger, this group (mostly men) prepares meals for special occasions and celebrations - homecoming picnic, Christmas and Harvest luncheons, and the Annual Charge Conference meal.
  • Helping Hands is a group - women, men, boys, and girls - that gathers on the 2nd and 4th Monday each month and makes items from yarn and fabric (materials, patterns & help in learning a craft available). Our newly formed Prayer Shawl Ministry is part of this group.
  • Kids' Club meets occasionally for off-site family events: mini-golf, bowling, sledding, working at the Regional Food Bank.
  • One Friday a month we host a Movie Night at 6:30pm with free popcorn and 60cent soda.
  • A number of members of the Christ Church family participate in a newly formed, Troy-based Progressive Christian Study Group. We meet 4 times a year, share a meal, and discuss a pre-selected topic or book.
  • AngelsWe have a Fiber Arts team that has designed, constructed, and installed Installation Art in our sanctuary. Their most recent creation was Angels in the Evening Sky. Three panels of dyed silk recreate the evening sky spreading 72 feet across the front of the space. Three angels ranging in length from 12 to 15 feet appear to swoop and glide from the heavens toward the pews. Each has a wingspan of approximately 16 feet.
