Education

  • Our Church School provides quality educational experiences for our youngest members. Classes are held at 9:30am each Sunday morning. All children are welcome.
As part of the church's 200th anniversary celebration, the Sunday School has kicked off their Heifer Ark Project.
  • We offer several Bible and Adult Studies that are open to anyone interested. One is held weekdays and the other every Sunday morning at 9:30am in the Parlor. Other adult studies are announced as they are offered.
  • Committed to our motto of "on a journey with Christ - questioning, serving & growing", we offer the Living the Questions curriculum and other classes from the Living the Questions organization including:
Saving Jesus - Ever feel like Jesus has been kidnapped by the Christian Right or the Secular Left?
    Countering Pharaoh's Production-Consumption Society Today
Victory and Peace or Justice and Peace? - John Dominic Crossan explores the juxtaposition of Roman Imperial Theology and the Kingdom of God.
These classes are open to members, attendees, and non-members. Contact the church office for information on classes currently being offered and those scheduled for the next quarter.
  • DISCIPLE is an ecumenical Bible study active in thirty-four denominations. The Disciple program was developed in the 1980's as year long studies. Recently the 8-week studies - Invitation to the New Testament and Invitation to the Old Testament - offered at Christ Church were added to the program.
