Our purpose is to become disciples of Christ and to fulfill God's will through spiritual growth, education, worship and fellowship. We express our faith through service with others. We welcome all to join us in this journey.

United Methodist Women

The UMW invites all women of the church to spiritual growth, education and participation in missions and fellowship. We meet monthly on the 4th Tuesday evening of the month (except for summer.)

The conference and district UMW offers a School of Christian Missions each year in three locations, held in the summer and fall. The spiritual growth theme for 2008 is I BELIEVE IN JESUS, and our mission studies include GIVING OUR HEARTS AWAY: NATIVE AMERICAN SURVIVAL and ISRAEL-PALESTINE. Programs in these areas are offered locally as well.
At Christ United Methodist Church, the UMW prepares boxes of goodies for college students twice a year, during examination times.
We support a variety of mission projects, both local and global through our pledged giving and fundraising.
Holidays such as Valentine's Day and May Day might occasion a women's tea, brunch, or luncheon to include guests.
