Text Box: That is what Jesus wanted for those who listened to him two thousands years ago and that is what he wants for you and me today. I believe abundant life is what He wants for our church family. However, we need to receive the abundant life He offers. I am sharing a series of sermons about how we can embrace this promise and live life in all of its fullness.
I’ll see you at the top of the hill where God is making us fully alive!

Text Box: Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. My heart rejoices because of the great love that God has poured into your hearts.. I am so proud to be your pastor. It has been exciting to partner with you in this great adventure of spreading the power of Jesus name to bring forgiveness, strength and purpose to people.. The power of the Holy Spirit can be seen in what is happening in our Sunday School Classes; the Youth and Children’s Program; the United Methodist Men; the Women’s Ministry; the New Worship Service at Text Box: 8:32; and in the planning of events that are going to happen in 2007. I believe God is going to bless us in some wonderful ways this year.
Jesus made a promise before a crowd people. He said, “My purpose is to give life in all of its fullness.” Those who heard Jesus that day understood fullness to mean “excessively, exceedingly, abundantly above and beyond anything we can imagine.” Jesus was saying that the reason he stepped out of eternity and into time was to shower people with goodness and grace. Text Box: Tracy Daniels for all the hard work and hours they have put into the youth program. Everyone is working together to make the life of our church better for the youth. Rather than continuing to spread ourselves thin in trying to make several activities work, Kim and Tracy volunteered to bring consistantency to our youth program as leaders and are putting lots of time into Wednesday and Sunday mornings. As we grow other things will grow as well. As of now, we’re all working on a strong foundation and we all know it will be essential to our ministry. Please continue to pray for all the children and youth in our church and community. Also, pray for the leaders as we train children/Text Box: The children have been busy getting back into our routines. Wednesday evening is our big push night and we are hoping to carry over to Sundays as we continue to grow and mature in our faith. We have new children and youth coming and it is so exciting.!
Ms. Ann is doing a fantastic job in the nursery. She is also a tremendous help to me on Wednesday nights. She has been helping the little ones with their lesson. She has been a blessing to me.
As you know, with change comes some growing pains so please keep us in your prayers. It is wonderful to see a child’s life transformed!
Text Box: We really need some extra help on Wednesday evenings. There are several ways that you can help. We need a teacher for the 3-6 yr group. However, if someone would rather do the 3rd and 4th grade I will teach the younger group.
Also we need some help in the kitchen. If you would like to volunteer once a month it would be great. Meals for children/youth are being prepared, bought or donated. It would be great to have someone help clean up afterwards while we do our lessons. We eat from 6:00 to 6:15 so you wouldn’t be here late.
The youth are really busy as well! I want to thank Lesa & Dan Burdeshaw and Kim &
