Intelluctual Development

The Village’s caretakers, known as parents, are veteran teachers of Liberia’s schools. At the Village School, they teach English, Science, Math, History, and Religion. Your contribution will help to complete the construction of the School.

Looking ahead towards the day when the children become adults, the Village appeals to benefactors for scholarships for its most academically gifted children. Liberia has two centers for higher learning, the University of Liberia in Monrovia and Cuttington University College in Suakoko, Bong County. If you are interested in giving a scholarship, contact club-orphan@jmu.edu
