King Outreach Ministries

Chestnut Grove Methodist is an active supporter of King Outreach Ministry. Our church donates annually to the budget of this organization. In past years we have also had love offerings that were made to King Outreach in addition to our budgeted giving. Presently, we are collecting juice to donate to King Outreach. This is an ongoing project and we are averaging around 35 containers of juice each month. Members may place their juice on a cart or box in the foyer outside of the Fellowship Hall. Our donations are received joyously each time we deliver them to the outreach ministry.

In case you are unfamiliar with King Outreach Ministries, we would like to inform you with just a little information about this group.

King Outreach Ministry is a local organization that assists individuals and families in the King and surrounding communities. The ministry's director is Mr. Mike Culler and a volunteer staff assists him. The ministry is presently located at 413 Kingsway Drive off Meadowbrook Drive. Hours are Monday - Friday 9:00-12:00 and Saturdays 10:00-12:00. There is also a thrift shop located on East King Street. Clients are interviewed by the staff to assess their needs. King Outreach tries to meet needs in many different areas including food, clothing, medication, and assistance with fuel bills just to name a few. It is a very important ministry to our community and Chestnut Grove Methodist Church is proud to be a supporter of this ministry.
