Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church is located in the rolling hills outside of Dillsburg in south-central Pennsylvania. Our church welcomes all who seek the love and light of Jesus Christ. We seek to honor and glorify Him with our services and activities. We are involved in many ministries, and are "on the move". Through God's presence in us, we seek to be salt and light, offering the love and peace of Christ to all. Chestnut Grove was formed began during that time of history that has been called America's Darkest Days. Our congregation received official conference recognition in September of 1864. We believe that Chestnut Grove was called to be a source of light to the community during that time, to offer the peace of Christ to those touched by the pain of war. It's our belief that God's call to offer that peace and light has not changed, even though the Civil War has long since ended. Our Mission Statement describes who we are, and why we're here. WELCOME!
