Building Use Form
PARISH HOUSE USE POLICY
General
Provisions
-
No smoking anywhere on the church
property.

No alcoholic beverages (open or unopened)
allowed on the church property.

Building may only be used on the dates and
times agreed upon.

Nothing may be removed from the walls
without the permission of the pastor or
the pastor’s designee.

Bring your own paper products: e.g.
napkins, plates, trash bags, etc.

Before you leave the building make sure
all decorations are removed.

If the kitchen is used, please wipe off
all counters and the stove and put away
all dishes.

Take all food and trash with you when you
leave the building.

Building should be left neat and clean
with floors swept.

Close and lock windows. Flush toilets.
Turn off water heater in kitchen.

Do not leave clean up for the next day
unless that has been previously arranged.

Any items left after 7 days will be
disposed of.
Any damages to
the building or furnishings are the
responsibility of the renter. Additional
charges may be incurred for damage or
cleaning.
Generally,
decisions concerning the rental shall be
made by the Pastor & the church office. All
dates and times shall be on an individual
basis.
Checks should
be made to the Chebeague Island UMC and
marked “Building Use Donation”. All checks
should be sent to the church at PO Box 1,
Chebeague Island, ME 04017.
Church
Events have Priority (when they have
reserved the space).
Each group arranges for its own set up &
clean up.
Special set up and clean up charges can be
negotiated.
Non-Church
Community Groups
Suggested Donation of $25.00 for
meetings (usually 1-2 hours in duration)
without the use of the kitchen.
Suggested
Donation of $50.00 for events (i.e.
anniversary party, baby shower) without the
use of the kitchen. This includes the
custodial fee.
Suggested
Donation of $75.00 for events that require
the use of the kitchen. This includes the
custodial fee.
Suggested
Donation of $25.00 for use of kitchen only
(1-3 hours). Custodial fee will be
additional if necessary.
In
consultation with the pastor, the church may
waive any fees.
