Charlotte District United Methdist Men Leadership Training
The Charlotte District UMM will provide leadership training workshops throughout the Charlotte District during March-April-May, 2008.

  Some of the topics covered are the following:
     • How to organize a local fellowship
     • Installation services for officers
     • Local fellowship suggested by-laws
     • UMM purpose and it’s meaning
     • Chartering: the whys and hows
     • Organizational charts
     • GCUMM-its purpose
     • Officer’s job description
     • Agenda building for local meetings
     • Men’s ministry specialist
     • EMS/Legacy program
     • WNCCUMM 4 major emphases

These are just a few topics to be covered in the workshops.

There will be 6 training sessions at the following host cluster fellowships:
      1. Grace UMC – Central Cluster - March 15th
      2. St Andrews UMC- Southwest Cluster – April 19th
      3. Trinity UMC- Northeast Cluster – April 5th
      4. Sharon UMC- Southeast Cluster – April 12
      5. Denver UMC- Lake Norman Cluster - TBA
      6. Simpson- Gillespie UMC- Northwest Cluster - TBA

All sessions will run from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
