'We have come into his house, and gathered in his name to worship him!'

Our Worship style is reflective of traditional United Methodism.  Our Worship service is divided into three distinct movements:  Entrance, Proclamation and Response, and Sending Forth.

During the Entrance movement, all of God's People come together to celebrate the miracle of Christ and the mystery of Faith.  The congregation gathers together and prepares for the worship service to begin.  The acolytes, choir, and pastor process in from the rear of the sanctuary singing a processional hymn.

The congregation and pastor share in the welcome and any parish notes that need to be made known.  The Chancel Choir then calls God's People to Divine Worship with a choral Call to Worship.

Then, the Pastor and Congregation share in a responsive Greeting and remain standing during the opening hymn followed by an Opening Prayer that is read by all.  The congregation is seated and thus concludes the Entrance movement.

During the Proclamation and Response movement, the children of the church come down for a brief moment with the Pastor as they share together the wonderful life as Children of God.

The Pastor then gives a brief introduction to the two scriptures lessons that we be read and how they relate to one another and to the modern Church.

A Prayer of Illumination is then offered, asking God to open the eyes, ears, and hearts of His People as we worship.

The Congregation then stands for the singing of the second hymn.

Next the First Lesson is read, usually coming from the book of Psalms.

The Chancel Choir then prepares the congregation for the reading and proclamation of the Gospel with an Anthem.

The Gospel Lesson is then read followed by a sermon.  At the conclusion of the sermon, there is a moment of prayerful silence as we reflect on what has been proclaimed and as we prepare to respond.

The congregation then stands and responds to the sermon by reciting an Affirmation of Faith.  This is followed by the Prayers of the People as we offer our prayers to God.

We then offer ourselves and our Gifts to God through the Offering, followed by the Doxology.  A Prayer of Thanksgiving is offered followed by the Lord's Prayer and the Gloria Patri

Finally we move into the Sending Forth movement.  We remain standing as we sing our final hymn and wait for the Benediction from the Pastor and the congregation and choir responds with a stanza.

The congregation is then dismissed by the Postlude.
