Central has numerous opportunities for participation in our Music Ministry!
Pre-school Music Program - Pre-schoolers, aged 3 - 5
Meet 10:45 - 11:00 a.m. on Sundays
Sing--Games--Rhythm and listening activities--Pray. Occasionally participate
in worship.
Wesley Choristers - Children in grades 1 through 5
Meet 11:40-12:15 on Sundays
Enjoy a variety of great musical experiences and times of fellowship and
sharing.
Usually participate in worship once a month, sometimes with other groups.
Youth Fine Arts Group - Middle and High Schoolers
Meet 11:00 - 11:35 a.m. on Sundays
Engage in music that's "here and now" for this age group
Plus other fine arts opportunities, including drama.
Participate in worship at least once a month, at times with other groups.
Spirit Singers - High School through 100+
Meets 6:30 p.m. Thursdays
For those with musical inclinations typically called "contemporary" sound.
Spirituals--Gospel--Lots of praise hymns.
The group occasionally goes on the road -- for brief, outside ministries.
Chancel Choir - High School through 100&1
Meets 7:30 p.m. most Thursdays
Appearing all but one Sunday each month in Worship Service (9:30-10:30)
Classics--Traditional--Spirituals--Contemporary--Even jazz! Some
outside-the-church services.
Central Bell Ringers - All age groups, able to focus, with hand/arm strength
to handle bells.
Meet 5:30 p.m. Thursdays, scheduled weeks--Four short-term 5 week sessions
throughout program years.
Vocal soloists and Instrumentalists
Singers, please call. Instrumentalists many times enhance choral activities,
perform in groups or solo.
At times, instrumentalists convene in groups for a particular service. Make
your wishes and talents known!
