Membership Care
Ministries
The Membership Care Ministries helps to bring sunshine and support to members who are homebound, in the hospital, in a nursing home, or retirement home. The group also supports families who suffer a loss and helps with funeral arrangements.
If interested or
know of a church member who needs care, please contact Judy Asazawa.
Senior Ministries
The Senior Ministries group focuses on the needs of seniors for fellowship and special services. This group supports a worship service for residents of Keiro Nursing Home and provides a van with wheelchair access to bring people to church.

The Social Concerns Ministries coordinates many of the outreach programs at Centenary. Each month, 200 lunches are prepared for the homeless; in the fall, school supplies are collected for all of the students at Ninth Street School so that they may begin the school year ready to work; eyeglasses are collected for distribution in Third World countries; soup labels are collected to benefit the David and Margaret Home for Abused Children; and new underwear and toy collections go to the Little Tokyo Service Center, Ninth Street School, area Homeless Shelters, and Pico Shalom Missions.
If interested, please contact Martha Nishinaka.
Worship Ministries
Members support our worship service as ushers, greeters, liturgists, parking lot attendants, sound system operators, attendance record keepers, etc. This committee strives to continually improve the worship experience and increase worship attendance by arranging special events and ensuring guests are comfortable and informed about Centenary.
If interested, please contact Sumi Yonemoto.
