Cedar Key United Methodist Church, the oldest church on the island, was founded in 1855, and in 2005 is
celebrating it's 150th Anniversary!  Our Anniversary and Annual Homecoming will be celebrated Mach 13, 2005.

The current church was built in 1889. Its mission is to proclaim God's love to this community and the world.

Noted around the country for its beautiful 11 stained glass windows designed by local high school students and made by an island craftsman. Each window depicts a biblical scene on top, and a Cedar Key scene on the lower panel.
