::GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF OUR LORD::

Dear Webpage Visitor,

      On behalf of the friends and members of the St. Paul’s and Zion United Methodist Churches, I would like to extend an invitation unto you to get away from the computer keyboard and the restless routines of your life  and to come spend a little time with our “families of faith.” In doing so, you may well discover for yourself the joy and love that many have found as gather together each week to worship, study and serve others in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

      As you look around each of the congregations, you will see others who are young and not-so-young as well as those who have been here all of their lives and others who have “adopted” us as their new “family of faith” even though they have been here only a short time. Or to put it another way:  There are no strangers in our congregations… only new friends to be welcomed. If you are a first time visitor or a new resident, be sure to ask about a special gift we have for you (print this page and bring it with you as a reminder!). We do not claim to be the “perfect church” filled with “perfect people,” but we are a people who seek to praise our God, share each other’s joys and bear each other’s burdens following the example of the one we call Jesus.

      So what say you?  Are you just a bit curious?  Whether you are just visiting for the weekend, have recently moved here, or have been here all of your life, why don’t you spend a little time with us.  I truly believe you will be glad you did (you might even like the preaching!)!
