Pastor James began his service as pastor and spiritual guide of Christ's Church on July 1, 2007, as an appointee by the Bishop of the United Methodist Church. With extensive study and degrees in education, art, and music, as well as pastoral care, he brings great energy, talent, and compassion to his leadership role.

His passion for outreach and mission is exemplified by his participation in a mission trip to Kenya, Africa where he worked with children with AIDS in the construction of shelters and other daily tasks; in his participation in our 2007 mission to Mississippi to assist in the continuing effort to aid the population there in recovering from the devastating effects of the hurricane Katrina.
