Wesley: Worship - 8:30 am; Sunday School - 10:15 am
Cattaraugus: Sunday School - 9:00 am; Worship - 10:30 am

The Cattaraugus / Wesley Charge of The United Methodist Church is made up of two unique groups of people. The United Methodist Church of Cattaraugus gathers at 10:30 am within the village of Cattaraugus. We have a where we experience a convergence of the Spirit of God with the spirit of man! The Wesley United Methodist Church gathers at 8:30 am in a country setting (State Route 353, 7 miles north of Cattaraugus). Our services have a ‘country’ atmosphere. Both are wonderful gatherings in which to experience God!

Pastor Dave Piatt is a graduate of Houghton College and United Theological Seminary @ Buffalo. He is currently working on his D. Min. Through Trinity Theological Seminary in Newburgh, Indiana. He and his wife, Jenni, have four children: David (on his own), Rachel (recently graduated from SUNY Potsdam), Erin (with our 1 year old grandson, Braedon), and Daniel (now entering 10th grade). Jenni and Dan are both very active in ministry in this pastoral charge.

But why are we here?

We are here for you! The people of the Cattaraugus / Wesley Charge are making the difference for Christ in our communities. The Great Commission and Great Commandment determine our mission of disciple-making. We intend to accomplish our mission by fulfilling the following purposes:

Gathering people together
through intentional outreach and evangelism for experiences of Christian Community and Living Worship.
Growing our congregation
through programs of Fellowship and Discipleship.
Going into a desperate world as Servant Leaders
to meet Spiritual and Physical needs.
In a phrase, we’re Making the Difference for Christ!
