Noah's Ark
Our replica of
Noah's Ark may not be sea-worthy but it sure beats a tent when you want
to go camping. Measuring 80 cubits long it will sleep up to 32 in
double stacked berths. A petition divides the Ark into two matching
sections with separate doors and decks for meetings. Portholes may be
opened for air circulation or closed to keep the weather out. The Ark
has electric lighting and outlets but no heat. It is located between
the shower house and the picnic shelter which serve the Ark and other
groups in camp as well. This is an ideal facility for youth and
children's groups that want to camp but not rough it too much!
Noah's Ark is available weekends from May 1 through November 1, subject
to current weather conditions.
The shower house has separate male and female facilities. Each side is
equipped with six showers, toilets and 4 basins and plenty of hot
water. The Shower house is not heated but is generally comfortable. The
area around the Ark is adequately lit with fixtures from the buildings.
Flashlights might be helpful but not absolutely necessary. |
