OUR GOAL

Since 1970, the goal of Calvary United Methodist Preschool has been to offer a developmentally appropriate preschool curriculum that will foster social, emotional, academic, and physical growth. We strive to meet each child at their current level, and assist them in learning the skills needed to make the transition to kindergarten a positive experience.

We feel honored to have the opportunity to be a part of your child’s early learning experiences and look forward to helping each child learn and grow throughout the year.

OUR FACILITY

We have a large, handicapped accessible, professionally designed classroom which provides many areas for different types of learning.

Our classroom has its own bathroom, which helps with supervision and safety.

We have a full sized gym for large motor play during inclement weather.

We also have a large fenced outdoor area.

OUR STAFF

Our teachers have over 35 years of combined experience teaching early childhood. 34 of those years have been at our facility. The Lead teacher, Brenda Davis, has a degree in Early Childhood Education from Anderson University and a degree in Social Work from Ball State University . The Assistant teacher, Brenda Johnson, studied music and psychology for 4 years at John Brown University .

OUR CURRICULUM

We strive to offer the highest quality early childhood curriculum possible. Our objectives will cover the whole spectrum of learning.

We spend time each day on large and small motor skills, art, music, social growth, and appropriate academic skills.

OUR SCHEDULE

Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 until 11:30 for those children who will be 3 by September 1^st.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8:30 until 11:30 for those children who will attend kindergarten the following Fall. This is a pre-kindergarten class which meets 9 hours per week.

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons from 12:30 until 3:00 for those children who will be 4 by September 1^st. This is a pre-kindergarten curriculum which meets 7.5 hours per week.

TUITION AND FEES

For the 2006-2007 school year, our tuition has been set as follows:

The 2 Day Morning class is $60.00 per month.

The 3 Day Morning class is $85.00 per month.

The 3 Day Afternoon class is $70.00 per month.

We also require a $30.00 non-refundable supply fee at the time of enrollment to hold your child’s position.
