Pastor Randy Kiel and his wife Karen A Message fron the Pastor: Almost 2,000 years ago, three times Our Lord asked the Apostle Peter, "Do you love me?" Each time Peter told Him that, yes, he did indeed love Him. The first time, Jesus replied, "Feed my lambs‚" The second, Jesus replied, "Take care of my sheep." And the third, "Feed my sheep." Here at Caledonia Memorial United Methodist Church, we are committed to following this summons of Christ, to care for His flock.
CMUMC is a wonderful setting to develop your own personal relationship with God. My wife, Karen, and I have felt so very welcomed here by the congregation since immediately after we arrived in July of 2007, and if you are seeking a church-home, you will also be welcomed into our church-family.
The congregation here has been through many ups and downs over the years, and as the 100th anniversary of our monumental church building approaches we look forward to bringing in many new faces to share in our current joy. Speaking of that anniversary, the construction was started in 1908 and the building was dedicated and put to use in 1909, so we plan to have events for the whole community periodically throughout the years 2008 - 2009. Watch for announcements and plan to attend!
