| The Nutter Farm United Methodist Church had it's beginnings when a group of consecrated Methodist folks gathered for worship in the Nutter Fork School House about the year 1890. Services were held in the Nutter Fork School House until 1905 when the present building was erected. |
| The original structure remained about the same with little change until 1950 when it was repaired and a new foundation was built. In 1960 class rooms were built on the back, and a new roof was added in 1970. |
| The Nutter Farm UMC is located 1/2 mile off the Nutter Farm Road exit of Rt. 50. |
