We are still in need of a secretary for 2009 to work with our out-going secretary, Sheila Greeson, and to assume the position full time in 2010 for a minimum 2-year term.

Praise God for the work that He has accomplished through the nominating committee to fill the positions on the UMW District Team. Thank you to all who have submitted Talent Bank Forms, those who have prayerfully considered a position when asked and those who have accepted the call to further the work of UMW on the District level at this time.

If you have not received a “Talent Bank Form” and would like one to copy for your members, please download it from this webpage or I will be glad to mail a hard copy to someone who can not access it.

Please note: A completed form does not mean that you will be chosen for the district team at this time. Having several of the completed forms on file will give the nominating committee a larger group in which to draw from in trying to fill the offices of the district team in the future. Once we have names, the nominating committee prayerfully considers who to ask for specific jobs on the team.

I ask each of you to consider listening for God’s call to serve on the District Team. If you or you know someone that would be an asset to the team, please make sure they receive a form or let a member of the nominating committee know.

Please continue to pray for the work of the nominating committee as we continue to seek qualified and willing persons for rolls on the District Team.
