Protecting the watershed of Ramsey Creek, Buffalo Mountain Camp preserves a fragile ecology of wildflowers, clear mountain stream, and forest wildlife. Campers enjoy the beauty of God's creation as they work and play in small groups in their "home in the woods", as they hike the mountain, view its lovely vistas, delight in the waterfall, study stream ecology, and look for signs of forest creatures. The Buffalo Mountain experience is a small group experience with groups of 8-12 campers being led by two counselors, the creation of Christian community and growth in personal faith being two primary goals. The camp is accredited by the American Camping Association and is directed by the Rev. Christina DowlingSoka.
