Monday

Galatians 5:23

Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Long suffering is patience and this is one of the virtues of the Holy Spirit. When it says"the fruit of the Spirit is" it is telling us that there is only one fruit so you can't pick and choose which fruit is going to show from you today or tomorrow, it is all on fruit. So, from this we can see that we have been given patience and God knows this. Now we need to build it as we exercise to build our muscles so God uses the trying of our faith to build our patience.

Since God has already given us patience what happens when we pray for patience? What happens is God sends trials ourway to build our patience. This is why that every time you pray for patience you get trials.Instead of asking for patience God tells us through Peter what to do when trails come our way.

Tuesday

1 PETER 5:7

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Give ALL your trials to Him and He will tgake care of them for you. Rest in Him, that is what He wants yhou to do with your cares or trials. Our Heavenly Father loves us and wants to take care of our trials and tribulations for us. He reassured me that He is still able to drop things out of the sky if need be. He did it for the Isrealites when they were wandering in the wilderness, their mannha and meat, and knowing that hedid it for them is telling us that He is still able to do it for us.

Wednesday

James 1:15

Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

*Thursday

Isaiah 40:31

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

This doesn't say, they that wait for the Lord, it says they that wait upon the Lord, shall renew their strength. Those that accept the calling and go about their lives doing what God has commanded us to do. Jesus said it in John 5:10. Go back and read it. If you love as He has commanded you will want to wait upon the Lord. Preaching, teaching, speaking out for the Lord will save someone's life but if you keep still and do nothing it will do nothing for them.

Friday

Mark 5: 25-34

25And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,26And had suffered many things of many physicians, and h ad spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,27When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.28For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.29And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.30And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who Touched my clothes?31And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?32And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.33but the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.34And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

Jesus was and still is in the healing business. Actually it is the blessing business and His business is prospering. He still is blessing people if they will only reach out and touch His garment. You can do this trough prayer but most likely through His Word, the Bible. John 1:1-4 tells us that Jesus is the Word so why wonder how to touch His garment? It is rather simple, pick up your Bible and read and study it. It is a prescription from the best Dr. that you can find.

Saturday

James 1:3

Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

The trying of your faith builds your patience. You were given patience when the Holy Spirit came to reside inside of you and I. Patience is one of the virtues of the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
