COOKS CHURCH

The Church is located along Cooks Road
(State route 3019) in the Village of Cooks. At the dedication service held on
Sunday, September 11, 1921, the Rev. C.S. Kidd spoke on the "The Cross
of Christ" and quoted Galatians 6:14. "God forbid that I should glory,
save in the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ." While the cross can be viewed
as the end, he noted that it is also the beginning of a Christian life and experience.
It was there that Jesus set us free. We at the Cooks church still hold fast
to these words today.

There are many people in our community
who do not attend church. We must strive to reach out to them with our love,
concern and support and the message of salvation. Pastor Suzanne is a wonderful
spiritual leader, a true prayer warrior. Each Sunday she inspires us to follow
the Lord's guidance and direction for such work.
We invite you to join us for Sunday School
each week at 10:15am and for our combined worship service at 9:00am on a rotating
schedule with Broad Top and Wood (see schedule on home page).
