About two months ago, Pam and I became the proud owners of three Morgan horses.  I justified the purchase by saying that they were Pam's graduation present, but the truth is, I think I wanted horse almost as badly as Pam did.  When we went to look at the horses, we were only going to look at one.   But when I saw Celebration and her colt, Sangiovese, I immediately fell in love with the colt, and so we brought both of them home.  However, while we were looking at them, a small black filly also caught my eye, and we immediately became friends.   Yes, that's right.  Eventually, Pam and I went back and bought Nocturnal Glory, a black filly that is just over a month old.  We'll bring her home as soon as she is weaned from her mother.  Here's some pictures of our new family:

Here they are!  Celebration, the mare, is on the left.  She is Pam's horse.  And that is my colt, Sangiovese, on the right.  Aren't they pretty?

Celebration is a good mother although at times she is a little protective of Sangiovese.

This is Nocturnal Glory, the filly.  She is going to be black, and is just about the cutest little thing you've ever seen.

Here Pam pets Nocturnal Glory.  Morgans have such good dispositions, and Glory is no exception.

Here I get into the action.  It's amazing to me that something this little and cute will eventually end up as a big, graceful and beautiful mare.

Sangiovese looks out between the logs that form the fence to his new home.
