According to the Administration for Children and Families Newsletter, a publication of the Department of Health and Human Services, "Head Start bests Mercedes and BMW in customer satisfaction." According to this report, "the Head Start Program received the highest score of any government agency and private companies, even surpassing the ratings of Mercedes-Benz and BMW, in the latest American Customer Satisfaction Index released . . . by the President's Management Council. The 1999 overall customer satisfaction index for the Head Start Program is 87, based on a survey of Head Start parents. [This is] 15 points above the current national score of 72." |
