TIME

Time is a strange concept.  We can't stop it.  We could break every clock and watch in the world and time would still tick away.  We can't make more of it.  We each get only so much of it and no more.  Time is the very currency of life and once we spend it, it's gone.  We can't ever get it back.  How should we as Christians view our time?  Think about these:

  1.  If you had a magical stopwatch that you could push and freeze time, giving you some extra hours each day to do a little more, what would you use that extra time for?  Why?

  2.  Some people are generous with their time.  Others are stingy.  How would you rate yourself?

3.  Psalm 90:12 says, "Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom."  What does this verse mean to you, practically speaking?  If you found out you only had one day to live, how would you spend that time?

  4.  The world tells us over and over to indulge ourselves.  Christ calls us to deny ourselves and live for Him.  Ponder the implications of these passages.
Mark 8:34, "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me."
Galatians 2:20, "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.  The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me."
Colossians 3:23,"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters."

Time is living with Jesus everyday!

I appreciate every one of you!
