Who We Are

The First United Methodist Church of Brownsville is an open door Christian Fellowship for all to become spiritally alive through the saving work of Jesus Christ. The center of our theology is God's grace - the unmerited love that God has for all creation. We are created as God's children; however, without God's grace, we live in a broken relationship with God. Through the love of Jesus Christ, we can be restored to a full and loving relationship with God. That love then leads us to become more Christ-like in all our endeavors, and we grow in a life filled with grace.
