From The Pastor

Brookstown has a long history of fellowship in the community and much has changed since the founding of this church in the past 150 years. A small but dedicated group of “Christians” decided to build upon this sacred ground. I am honored to be a small part of the history of this growing community and to have worked with the many dedicated disciples who have through the years ministered to this community with faithful prayers and service.

Our mission has always been and will continue to be to lift up the name and good news of our Savior and to share in caring for the needs of the people of this community. We are a people called to reach out with love, forgiveness, and joy to a world that seeks peace and to help lead others to the “foundation” and “corner stone” of life. The spirit of Brookstown is represented in the fellowship, activities, education, mission, and worship of this great church. They are a snap shot of who we are and of the ministry we have in the Lord’s name.

“The people of God” have dedicated themselves to accomplish the Lord’s work in this place. Each person represented here has vowed to serve the Lord with his or her prayers, gifts, talents, and service. It is the Spirit that really keeps Brookstown growing toward a yet unknown but secure future.
