Pastor Mike's Page
Pastor Mike Macdonald Pastor's Ministry: Mike was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on April 18, 1957. He graduated from Little Rock Central High School in 1975, Hendrix College in 1979 with a BA degree in Religion (magna cum laude), and from Duke University Divinity School in 1985 with a Master's degree in Divinity (magna cum laude). Mike has served the following appointments: Mallettown United Methodist Church (North Arkansas Conference) 1977-1978, Morrilton Circuit 1978-1979, Hatfield Circuit (Little Rock Conference) 1980-1981, Lancaster Circuit (Methodist Church of United Kingdom) 1983-1984, Polkton Circuit (Western North Carolina Conference) 1984-1988, Main Street UMC (WNCC-Albemarle) 1988-1993, Mt. Pleasant UMC (WNCC-Mt Pleasant) 1993-1999, and Broad Street UMC (WNCC-Mooresville) 1999 to present. Pastor Mike has won the Circuit Rider National Sermon Contest in 1990 and 1992.
