Outreach
This ministry's primary task is to involve the church in spreading the gospel through service. To listen and make provisions for emergency needs of members of the church and the community. This task will be accomplished through the work of the following areas.
The purpose of the United Methodist Women states: The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. The four mission emphasis of this organization are: Spiritual Growth, Education and Interpretation, Social Action, and Membership Nurture and Outreach. The United Methodist Women gives many opportunities to spread the gospel of God's love to everyone especially to women, youth, and children. This organization is part of the Women's Division of the Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church. Since the membership of this organization is independent of the membership of the local church all women of the local church and community are invited to become a member of this organization.
United Methodist Men
The primary goal of the United Methodist Men is to be a creative, supportive fellowship of men who seek to know Jesus Christ , to grow spiritually and to seek daily the Lord's will in their lives and in all relationships.
Recreation Ministry
The task of this ministry is to plan and provide for recreational and athletic activities and ministries for the church in the community.
