Bracks offers a variety of
opportunities for our congregation to witness to Christ including:
Lay Speaking Ministry
All members of Bracks United
Methodist Church are encouraged to become part of the ministry that
tells God's story. Lay speaking ministry is one means to
equip the members of the United Methodist Church to share the word of
God whether it be through preaching, teaching, witnessing or nurturing
others. There are several training opportunities offered to all
person who desire to explore his or her calling in the Church of
Christ.
Visitation Ministry
The primary task is to offer weekly
outreach to the sick and shut-in members. Devotions, prayers and
Holy Communion are administered during these visits.
Visitor Ministry
This ministry is to reach out to
visitors in our community and to let them know that they are always
welcome to attend and participate in the life of Christ here at Bracks.
Prayer Ministry
This ministry is to develop ways
that will help further and develop a disciplined prayer life.
The ministry's members pray for the members of the church,
church ministries and it's leaders and community concerns.
