Local MissionOur church is active in the community, and our doors are always open. The church building is used by many community groups including TOPS and the weekly senior meals. We have also host several AA and NA groups throughout the week. The building is available free of charge for non-profit community groups, for more information contact the church office at 267-2343. Many of our members volunteer in the community at places like the Restorium and hospital, and for programs like Second Chance and the Crisis Hotline. The church is a member of the local Ministerial Association and provides emergency aid for those in need as well as leading worship at the Hospital and Restorium several times a year.

Global MissionIn years past, members from Bonners Ferry UMC have led a week long mission trip to Chihuahua City, Mexico. The trip is sponsored by Volunteers in Mission of the United Methodist Church and have averaged 15-20 people from Bonners Ferry UMC and other area churches. Other members of our congregation have participated in mission trips to UMCOR headquarters in Louisiana and a UMC camp in Alaska as well as others. Trips for 09 are in the works. The United Methodist Women have led the way in mission work by making school kits and health kits for developing countries and by sponsoring missionaries around the world.
