School Classes
All of our children's classes use Cokesbury’s LIVE BIG
curriculum.
3 & 4 year olds: The
class, taught by Kelly Choate focuses on providing the children with a good
base for their Christian education.
5
and 6 year olds: Anita Alexander teaches this class of curious young
people.
7
& 8 year olds: The highly experienced team of Lindsey Godfrey, Doris
Spainhower and Emily Ashley teach this class.
9
& 10 year olds: Dee Seibert and one of our youth enjoy teaching
this class.
Celebration Choir -
directed by Loree Tedrow, the choir is for children kindergarten through fifth
grade. The children perform special music and a yearly musical during
worship services. The church van picks the children up after school on
Wednesday afternoons and takes them to the
Children's Church -
children age 4 years old through second grade are dismissed from the sanctuary
after children's sermon during second service to participate in Bible stories
and music in the fellowship hall.
Angel Bells –
Color-coded bells are used to make a joyful noise before the lord.
Children practice during Children's church time. They regularly perform
for the congregation.
B.U.M. Kids Parent's Day Out -
A Christian learning environment is provided for preschool children
Monday--Friday mornings during the school year.
Kidztrek – A pre-youth
group for 3rd, 4th , and 5th
grade children that meets on the 1st and 4th Sunday
evenings of each month from 5:30-6:30 at the
