We have many opportunities for folks to participate in the musical groups here
at Boca West.
The Praise Team, which provides music leadership for the Sunday morning
Contemporary Praise 8:30 am worship service, rehearses on Wednesday evenings
from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. This group leads in singing current praise songs,
traditional hymns in new settings, as well as learning and teaching new songs
to the congregation.
Our Chapel Choir, which sings during the Sunday morning Traditional Worship
service at 10:30 am, rehearses every Wednesday from 8:00 pm until 9:00 pm. This
group presents anthems, calls to worship, and leads in the hymn singing.
Our Combined Choir, made up of both of the above groups, presents special
seasonal performances, including Easter, Fourth of July, and Christmas.
We also have a drama group called The Lighthouse. The members of this group
participate in live Reader's Theater during certain times of the year, as well
as taking part in the filming of the dramatic videos that accompany all of our
special musical presentations.
In addition, during the school year, we hold rehearsals for Joyful Noise, a
children's choir, and Joyful Bells, a handbell choir for all ages.
