Blue Mountain Site Staff

Blue Mountain United Methodist Center currently employees (3) full-time employees and (11) part-time summer staff during the summer camp season.

Steve Lewandowski - Site Director

Steve and his family came to Blue Mountain United Methodist Center in the spring of 2002.  Steve grew up being very active in his youth group at First Methodist Church in Tulsa, OK.  It was at the age of 14 while attending summer camp that he dedicated his life to Christ, knowing that God was calling him to serve youth in a Christian camping environment.  Through Steve's education (BS/MS  in Outdoor Recreation from Oklahoma State University) and over 15 years of experience in the camping field, he is able to fulfill his God-given desire to minister to those who come to Blue Mountain UM Center by providing an environment for Bible study, prayer, praise & worship, fellowship, and recreation in a beautiful outdoor setting.

When time permits, Steve enjoys riding his Harley with his wife, fishing, hunting, taking pictures of local high school sporting events for the local newspaper, watching his sons play high school sports, and running around camp with his Jack Russell Terrier (Terrorist), Sugar.

Elaine Lewandowski - Administrative Asst.

Elaine brings 15+ years of administrative experience to Blue Mountain and enjoys being involved in the many different aspects of the camp ministry with her husband, Steve.  She loves serving the wide variety of groups that visit Blue Mountain each year.  Elaine enjoys living at Blue Mountain and having the opportunity to raise her family in such a beautiful environment. 

When she’s not working, Elaine likes to spend time with her family and watching her sons play sports, attending the local high school sporting events, and having her friends and relatives from Texas and Oklahoma visit Blue Mountain. 

Anna Stewart – Dir. of Foodservice/Housekeeping

Anna Stewart was hired in the spring of 2005 to head up our kitchen staff as full-time cook and to handle the cleaning of facilities year-round.  She is a wonderful cook and keeps Blue Mountain looking its best.  Anna has been a blessing to Blue Mountain as she has brought new ideas to her position that have enhanced the services we provide here at camp along with saving thousands of dollars in food and cleaning costs since her hiring.  We are looking forward to many more years with her as our Food Service/Housekeeping Director at camp.

When not working, Anna enjoys spending time with her 3 children, her dog Princess, and cat Titterbee; chatting with friends and family; reading; and, of course, cooking!
