Welcome to the Big Pine United Methodist Church website. 

To Jesus, everything revolved around obedience. In His relationship with the Father, obedience was all: “I always do the things that please Him” (John 8:29). As for us it’s the same: “why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord’ and do not do the things I tell you?” (Luke 6:46). 

Here at Big Pine, we are seeking through prayer and vision, to be obedient to our Father, as He is to us. We realize our relationship to the Father is not the same as that of Jesus to the Father. Theirs is one of divine to divine. Ours is different: that of creature to Creator, human to divine; a relationship of spirit, not of essence (Kinlaw). 

Come and worship with us, join in our on-line intercessory prayer group. No greater gift can be given, than to pray for another.
