Welcome from the Ministers at Beulah United Methodist Church 

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!  We are glad that you have chosen to look at this website for yourself, a family member, or just a loved one.  We hope that you will find this site useful and powerful. 

Each of us is called to be ministers of the Word in this world.  At Beulah, we take that statement very seriously.  That is why our church’s mission statement is “a fellowship of believers leading and growing as servants of Christ.”  That statement immediately tells you four things about this community of believers—we have a strong community spirit where everyone is welcomed as a neighbor, we are not afraid to be on the forefront of change, we recognize the need for continual learning and faith-sharing, and we take personally the suffering and redemption of Jesus. 

Beulah United Methodist was founded in 1860, some 145 years ago in the village of Bangs, Ohio.  From this foundation has built almost a century and a half of building up the Body of Christ through active worship, dedicated faith development, and service to each other, our Knox County neighbors, and the world at large. 

We believe that our fellowship is incomplete while there are people longing to know Jesus Christ and to come to accept him as their personal savior.  Our Wesleyan heritage invites us to be “strong and courageous” (Joshua 1:9) and to be open to anyone seeking a deeper and broader relationship with God.   

We hope that your exploration of this website will “whet your whistle” enough to come visit and worship with us.  Our doors are open!  Worship Service is at 9:00 a.m. every Sunday morning, followed by Sunday School at 10:00 a.m.
