Organizations / MissionsOrganizations: For additional information on any of the groups or missions listed below, contact the church office.Adult Bible Study: An intergenerational group which meets each Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Church Sanctuary. This small group meets to study and discuss portions of the Bible as it pertains to daily life.Kids Krusaders: This group of pre-school through grade 6 children meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Church for Bible stories, crafts, games and general fun.LIFE(Living In Faith Eternally) Youth Group: For young people in grades 7 through 12, the LIFE youth group meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. to study and discuss Bible topics, games, mission projects and to create craft items.Happy Workers Circle: For ladies of all ages, the group meets the second Friday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in member's homes for Bible Study, discussion and social activities.United Methodist Women : This group of ladies meet at the church for study, discussion and other activities.Mens' Group : The men of the church meet monthly to discusss Bilbical topics, watch films and and plan mission activities.Single's Group: For persons without a life partner, this group meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Sugar and Spice Restaurant near Collinsville.Friends Fellowship: For men and women who are sixty plus years of age, the group meets for lunch and activities on the second Tuesday of each month from 10:00 a.m. at the church. Often the group will take road trips to various points of interest.Adult Choir: This group is open to all who want to make a joyful noise to the Lord. The choir practices on the first and third Sunday at 8:00 a.m. and the second and fourth Monday at 6:45 p.m. The choir shares its musical message with the congregation at the Sunday Morning worship services.Sounds of Bethel Instrumental Group: This group of instrumentalists play prior to and during Sunday morning worship and other special services. Practices are the second and fourth Sunday of each month at 8:00 a.m.Hand Bell Choir: Our newest music group is made up of men and women who enjoy making music and having fun. Practice is the second and fourth Monday nights at 8:00 p.m. in the church Sanctuary.Parish Nurses: This group of nurses and those who are interested in the health field, meets on an as need basis to discuss and plan health and wellness programs for the churchand community. This group is in charge of the March and September blood drives at the church.
Missions: Throughout the year, we participate in the following outreach programs: Semi Annual Used Card collection for Pleasant Acres Activity Department Canned Food collection for local food banks Care packages to our troops Nothing But Nets Miles of Pennies Flood Buckets Cancer Society Daffodil Sunday
