Care Corp is comprised of people from our congregation that want to use their talents and energy to ministry within our Church, to take care of the Church flock and to show God's love (through us) for one another.  
This is how my Father's glory is shown: by your bearing much fruit; and in this way you will become my disciples." John 15:8
MINISTRY                                   GOALS

New Visitors                       Help follow up with visitors.

Shepherd                            Follow up with those absent from worship for
                                                            three weeks.

Hospital                                Visit with a person every day they are in the
                                                            hospital.  Visit persons in Nursing Homes
                                                            in addition to the clergy visit.

Card and Call                        Regular contacts with shut ins and nursing 
                                                            home residents.  Maintain prayer concern list.

Bread & Basket                    Provide food for ill and temporarily disabled.

Care for the Flock                Each church family contacted once each 12 months.

Angel                                      Provide support for those terminally ill or grieving.

Prayer Chain                          Pray on “as needed” basis as serious circumstances 
                                                              arise.

Our Daily Needs                    Provide assistance in daily needs, i.e. cutting grass,
                                                              fixing the car, giving a ride, picking up
                                                              medicine or groceries, computer problems.

Friend to Friend                     Caring for those going through difficult personal
                                                               experiences.

Bethel Day Care
  • Teach a new craft.
  • Assist teachers with crafts or games
  • Assist with Holiday Parties (e.g., Fall Party, christmas Party, Valentines Party, etc.)
  • Pat Children's backs at nap time
  • Read a story (e.g., Bible, fiction, etc.)
  • Assist Teachers with lunch (feeding children, wiping faces, etc.)
  • Sing songs/fingerplays
  • Play a musical instrument for the children (e.g., accordian, hap, guitar, etc.)
